We offer a 3-hour media training seminar that will enlighten you to the world of radio and TV news and newspapers.

Whether you are the publicity chair for your fund raiser or your company's PR or media person, you'll learn new and exciting ways to publicize events and deal with the media.

The seminar is fun and informative, while covering everything from news releases and photos to formats and timing. You will learn how to get the media calling you and how to be ready when they arrive.

The seminar is presented by nationally known broadcast journalist and producer Jim Fordyce. He has been in the media since 1972 and did his first radio newscast in high school. That launched his career, spanning radio and TV news as an anchor, reporter, news director, and producer for stations affiliated with every major network. Jim has also written for several newspapers.

In addition, Jim has worked outside the newsroom to produce special events and corporate shows. He was director of media and public relations for a major Michigan charity and has even acted on stage and in a movie or two. Jim is now getting involved in the Internet, as well, with his new web site, MIEntertainment.biz.

Pricing: $800 for the first 30 people, and $6 for each person after that. Each additional seminar on the same day is $400. There is no restriction on what you charge attendees. Please provide a video projector and microphone for the seminar.
